Well, when you're single or maybe even coupled up, sometimes valentine's day is not all about candle light dinner and everything! It can be about watching movies together,eating in,and enjoying some quality time together. Anyway, may I present to you, 10 of my most favorites movies to watch in Valentine's Day..tadahh!

#1 Pretty Woman

The mother of all the great romantic movies, I mean, this movie practically rocket-launched Roberts’ career into Hollywood superstar. We couldn’t help but to swoon over this 180 degree disparate couple’s dynamic! Ever since I have seen that movie, I swear everything about L.A is so much more romantic!

#2 The Proposal

Directed by Anne Fletcher

Staring Sandra Bullock, Ryan Reynolds, Betty White

Awww, this is probably one of my favorite chick flicks ever! I mean even guys enjoy this movie! It’s packed with humor, sweet-as-lollipop moments, and of course, Bullock being her as usual, sassy and blunt! Oh yeah, hey, don’t forget about Reynolds too! That guy is hot in some way, also charming in the other way around! J

#3 How to Lose A Guy in 10 Days

Directed by Donald Petrie

Staring Matthew McConaughey, Kate Hudson

First impression of this movie, a total usual chick flick! But hey, as I got through with the movies, I started to fall for it. I mean, yea, it’s very predictable but you know what, I think Kate Hudson and Matthew McConaughey makes one of the best onscreen couple ever! Plus, that words emphasizing is hilarious and that role playing, jeez!

#4 50 First Dates

Directed by Peter Segal

Staring Adam Sandler, Drew Barrymore

This is probably one of the movies where you and your guy friend/boyfriend can actually agree on something! I mean, we have Adam Sandler for boys and Barrymore for girls (Charlie’s Angels?LOL) Mix it up with quirky yet funny story, we have this incredible chick flick of all time!

#5 Something’s Gotta Give

Directed by Nancy Meyers

Staring Jack Nicholson, Diane Keaton

Well, it doesn’t star any young folks like any chick flicks usually do, but you know what, Nancy Meyers always maintains to keep it in the younger way. She knows how to work it in some way that everybody at every age can actually sit down and enjoy the movie! Plus, I can’t help but to love Jack and Diane’s gesture in the movies!

#6 Maid in Manhattan

Directed by Wayne Wang

Staring Jennifer Lopez, Ralph Fiennes

Well, it’s one of my very first chick flicks that I completely fell in love with! I mean, the settings at NY, J-Lo, the gap between the guy and girls, oh you couldn’t ask for something even better! My favorite scene? The one in the dance ball, awww, so sweet!

#7 10 Things I Hate About You

Directed by Gil Junger

Staring Heath Ledger, Julia Stiles, Joseph Gordon-Levitt

It’s not every bit of your romantic comedy but frankly, Heath Ledger being my favorite embodied the role of Patrick Verona in some ways that I fell in love with him myself! Of course, Julia Stiles as Kat is also magical! J

#8 It Happened One Night

It’s the Oscar approved movie! I mean, the movie is romantic blah blah blah but hey, take a look at the actors! They are amazing, more specifically genius! Well, you always always will love some classic right in Valentine’s Day? Blast from the past?

#9 Sex and The City

Staring Sarah Jessica Parker, Kim Catrall, Cynthia Nixon, Kristin Davis

Sorry guys, this one is for my girls out there! We love Sex and The City, it’s like our drugs! Between the fashion, the complex love life, the friendship, and juggling career, it’s every woman’s dream to be them. Admit it, who doesn’t want to have a closet as big as Carrie’s? Liar!

#10 Valentine’s Day

here, i present to you what you must watch in big screen or small screen in 2010 with counting down from 15 to 1 :)

#15 eat, pray, love

Julia Roberts stars in the film adaptation of Elizabeth Gilbert's memoir of self-discovery in Italy, India, and Indonesia. Of course, the much anticipated movie will probably another Oscar contender for 2010 Oscar, but that's not all, the breathtaking view of Italy, India, and more importantly Indonesia gives me another reason to watch the movie! Eventhough the time is not set yet for release, but make sure to watch out for this movie in the year of 2010!

#14 Iron Man 2

I don't know, lately I've been feeling Robert Downey Jr. ever since Sherlock Holmes. Indeed, I'm waiting for the movie because I know this one is a lot bigger with more amazing casts to add such as top villain Mickey Rourke and sassy vixen, Scarlett Johansson as Black Widow! Of course the old casts are expectedly amazing too, with Gwyneth Paltrow reprising role as Pepper Pots! Can't wait? be patient till May 7!

#13 Inception

The name of Christopher Nolan appeal to me! Well, let's see another one, well, I've been looking at shoots of Leonardo di Caprio and Ellen Page filming and frankly I'm hooked! Plus, this movie gives me the chill of the unknown. So yeah, I'm excited!

#12 Date Night

First here's what I thought, Date Night? Another thing like The Ugly Truth, uggs! But boy I was wrong, this is the perfect combination of Tina Fey and Steve Carrell so at least you'll get the funny quirky part. Plus another casts like James Franco and Leighton Meester are enough reason to watch this one!

#11 Life Unexpected

CW's newest series, Life Unexpected is exciting! I've seen the 5 minutes preview and I'm lovin it! It's not as glamorous as Gossip Girl but not as scandalous as Melrose Place. Hopefully this series will last since we know how fragile a new series is in CW! (Hint: The Beautiful Life)

#10 Beastly

Excited about this one? Nuff said! Based on best selling novel of Alex Flynn, the movie will play coy to enchanted fairytale but with modern twist. Not to mention, hot guy : Alex P! Gosh! :)

#9 Gossip Girl returns!

Okay! I have so many questions going through my head, what's up with Chuck's possibly alive mother? What about Serena Nate's long anticipated relationship? Is Jenny in some kind of trouble? uh oh! Most importantly, I can't wait to see Chuck and Blair back on TV! :)

#8 Lost Season 6 Premiere!

OMG! This is probably the most insane TV series in the decade. With all these promo, still I can't figure out what the hell is going on! But the more it confuses me, the more I'm excited to watch! :)

#7 Damages Season 3 Premiere

Ok damages is one of the most genius series in TV nowadays so pardon me to get excited for the upcoming season. Plus the face of Patty Hewes in the last part, let's just say, that image sticks to the bottom of my brain!

#6 Eclipse

No doubt, every teenagers love Eclipse (well maybe) so the point of putting this into the list is the excitement. Awnestly, I have to say that the excitement is even better than the movie. Not pointing out to anything but I can't help but swoon over Edward Cullen, so call me a fanatic, yeah!

#5 Salt

Well, the first and only reason to watch this movie is to witness Angelina Jolie kick ass once again. However, the thing is, I also get the some well, chills, from her being fierce so I'll say I'll be waiting for another female fatale out of her, considering her next project is with the uhm uhm, Johnny Depp (HOT! Nope Burning!)

#4 Valentine's Day

Like the trailer, I gotta feeling that this movie will be a great movie! Honestly with casts, okay, this will take another post I can't complain and endure the thrill of the excitement!

#3 Harry Potter and Deadly Hallows

No need to do the crazy fanatic fans act in here, I'm so sure that the final installment of Harry Potter is waited by mostly everyone! So it makes a logical sense to put it in our list!

#2 Sex and The City 2

I've never got this excited ever since, ever! Well, as a Sex and The City fans, I would be damned if I didn't catch up this movie! Honestly, this time around I'm not excited for the clothes only (that's a total lie) but I think the plot must've been interesting too! So no reason for not watching this movie! And the trailer? Empire State of Mind? Pure genius!

okay as i promised earlier on my tweets, im gonna post more about best of 2009, and that involves picking my special area..movies! yeahh! :) that way 2mrrw i'm gonna continue with tv series, books, music, and artist for sure.
you ready? let's start! (ps. i'm not big on the whole blockbuster thing, so don't expect lots of it!)

#10 Harry Potter and The Half Blood Prince

Comments:
First of all, I have to be blunt here and say that this movie is great because of the visual effect. Period. But as a loyal fan of Harry Potter, I can't deny the fact that I've been waiting for the movie like forever. The point is no matter how bad it can get, I will always be there in the cinema

#9 Public Enemies

Comments:
What I noticed fascinating first at the movie is the score and then I move on with Depp's acting which as usual is a perfecto. But honestly, this one suited really good! Depp known for his bad boy's moves are a picture perfect for the America's most feared enemies (for that time being I guess!)

#8 The Curious Case of Benjamin Button

What is it about?
A man who aged backwards? Meet Benjamin Button who was born under certain circumstances. Benjamin got through different layers in discovering the true meaning of life and love for the love of his life, Daisy.

Comments:
This movie is epic for sure! I can't get over the fact that I'm so sucked in to the whole Benjamin thing that I cried my ass off for 2 times. It's so wonderful how the whole casts especially Brad Pitt was able to convince me to feel sorry for Benjamin so much. Brava! That sure nuff said for the whole nomination, huh?

#7 The Reader

What's it about?
A long thrilling story about German woman, Hanna who was accused for being behind all the Jewish genocide with her even more complicated love story with a boy who was supposedly much younger than her.

Comments:
Definitely a worth watching! It was scandalous, out of our logical explanation but we are invited to question our own moral! Plus Kate Winslet delivered an outstanding performance!

I'm totally stunned out with the whole making it happen thing! It was awesome! Definitely! However, one thing that I'm still not impressed at, I feel like at the end, I was starting to lose my self back to the reality again, after being sucked in into this whole dimension.

*Speechless* That's what happened soon after I walked out from the cinema. It was exhilarating, thrilling, it was like my adrenaline was pumped to the maximum level! I kept imagining how damaged our earth is right now. SOS Earth saver?!

This movie is unbelievably genius! For instance I was hooked into the whole solving the puzzle thing! Plus kudos for Akiva&Brown for making the script seemed so..purely creative and well-written! MAGNIFICIO!

Best romantic comedy of the year! I'm digging the usual chick flick with the special touch of the dynamic between Bullock and Reynolds. Besides, this movie is included with beautiful view and a guy to swoon over! Pure LOVE!

This is just absolutely amazing! Perfect Screenplay (with all that jokes, cracks me up everytime!), perfect score (Hans Zimerman is the man!), perfect touch of directing, perfect role playing, everything screams perfecto to me!
