take a few seconds to really get a closer look on this look.. i couldn't help but wanting to poke on that head accessory in SJP's head. call me superficial but this look is definitely an original and make me wanna go to forever 21 to grab one of them. attention grabbing? uh yes, edgy? undeniably correct. it's definitely carrie/sjp's quirky pesona that sends this piece of fashion stuff to work.
another point here, the alexander mcqueen dress is a picture perfect of a british fashionista. i think this look is much better than the one in new york, don't you think? i agree to the saying that sjp always figures out a way to stand out among the other ladies. :)
anyway, the others didn't look too shabby either. i'm loving kristin davis' look (she has been constantly looking feminine chic) and chris north looked dapper too, very wallstreet financier vibe. good news aside, i'm still mortified with the fact that sex and the city 2 will open in indonesia in june 2! what..that's just so unfair! i've been waiting for like a year for this movie and i got later opening date? =_= point is please dear 21, stop being so shallow by opposing women realism movie and siding with the boys as heroine stuff. that's so last century

#4 what would the world be like if jane austen were still writing her realism writing?
#5 are there any women much more fearless than angelina jolie? watching her climbing and hanging down buildings, dang, i'm doubting her existence as an ordinary human, a mutant, yes, an ordinary woman? doubt it.

Before I start, let me get this straight, I'm a total goner for Sex and The City. Hell-o, it's not only about the envy-worthy clothing, it's the girl empowerment plot that sets the trend! Out of all the equally (well, not so much) girls, I'd take Carrie Bradshaw, anytime, anywhere, anyplace. Once again, let me validate a few things. First, yes, she has hundreds collections of Blahniks but you know what, she has the 'it' factor to flaunt it! Second, her character is quirky, bubbly, uniquely chic, and extremely adorable. Nobody hates Carrie Bradshaw! Third, her on-off story (which ends in hopefully a happy ending) with "Mr.Big" sold me to the ground! I'm just crazy about their sizzling chemistry, 911, fire burning for sure. So, today, I'll present to you few (that's without a, you can't get enough of it) Carrie's best looks! ENJOY!

It's the iconic tutu that's credited every SATC credit! Believe it or not, it's worth $5 at first! Oh wow! The genius Patricia Field chose this tutu dress because it reflects on Carrie's personality, quirky with sweetness inserted! Awww :) Remember on the movie, this is A MUST KEEP!
#2 Paris When It Sizzles
One remark: HUGE! The Versace dress is clearly a perfect ending to the series! “The dress is every woman’s daydream gown, just acres and acres of tulle and chiffon. You’d expect a dress like this to be pink, but it’s this darkly romantic color—the perfect dress to be dumped in,” said Rubenstein. “There’s nothing more woeful than seeing a beautiful woman all dressed up with nowhere to go.” What can I say? The dress took my breath away
#3 Pastel in Display Remember this dress when Carrie fell into the lake with Big? Yea, that's the dress (Richard Tyler) that I want to wear when I'm half-drowning with equally stunning looking man! It's a perfect pastel match with killer handbag too! (PS. It's Louis Vuitton) Another way to describe the dress? classic vintage, classic Carrie!
#4 Carrie-d Away by The Necklace
Okay, the necklace is legendary! Think about it, I want one with my name inscribed on it! It's unique, no one will have one like yours! Adding the fact that it can be matched with everything in your closet (even Chicken Suit) adds another point too!
#5 Ms Walking Newspaper Hands down! Before Gaga even knew about this style, Carrie Bradshaw had went with it! It's a definite crowd stopper and you know what, turns out it has meaning behind it. It's about season 3 with all the talking! What can I say? WOW
#6 Casually Chic When you're not in the mood being quirky, you can always try for this look! It's very laid back yet chic, very stylish yet simple, with strappy sandals. We beg to differ Carrie!
#7 Stripey Stylish I don't know whether it's the flower or the fact that the whole pattern just match because this look is definitely working! At her arrival in Paris, Carrie already dressed to impress and she got some big flower to show! It's definitely ' An American Girl in Paris'
#8 It's a Pink World Wow Carrie! This is the most stunning gown, I've ever seen! Tres Chic! Plus, the crazy hair do is a mood booster too! How can you not love this woman? She's stunningly amazing. Course, that detail on her dress is right now driving me crazy!
#9 Green Fever You can't say no this beautiful body con dress with floral details! It's the first dress that I've seen Carrie in from the movie that just grabs my heart! It's the first classical moment where my heart just goes to the movie! :) Awww
#10 Floral Pattern A complete sucker for this one, you know how much I love floral right? SO, go ahead and try, but I'll stand by what I said :)

It's a very simple dress to begin with, oh well, Mulligan in her 12-year-old looks surely fail to grow up in this Gala. I mean, she looks 12 don't you think? It's the dress that you wear to meet your sister or cousin, not for a Gala, hello?

I'm in complete nightmare just looking the combination between Cottilard and her dress. What's wrong with the look? Oh let's start with the very old-looking make up and the hair do doesn't help too! Finally, the very conventional detail in the dress doesn't ease up the pain too!

A very nice example to combine skin color with dress color :) I think Ms. Newton got this one right! I mean, it's just so pretty! Oh you know, the purple violet color is so blooming, just like the spring! What else? Great hair do and make up too! :)

Absolutely ravishing in that dress! Hathway never look prettier than this! The dress is sparkly, the hair do is youth looking, and her make up does compliment her princess aura! What can I say, once a princess, always a princess!

Meanwhile, the night was still very young for a certain lady. Juliet Capulet was one the run from the reality, the young man she had just met. Despite of difficulty of direction, for once, Juliet felt the one thing she had been dying to feel, freedom.
Juliet enters the stage and knocks on the door

(knocking on the door)
VIOLA
Wait a minute, who’s there?
JULIET
It’s me, Juliet!
VIOLA
Juliet Capulet? You’re a terrible liar, Juliet would never pay a visit at night
JULIET
Trust me, Viola! It’s me! Well, here’s some prove that I’m Juliet Capulet, your safe password is davis because you are crazy about him, you keep your knife on the back of stove, and you pretend to like scone while you actually hate it because it tastes like feet.
VIOLA
(open the door) What are you, mind reader? Come on in! What unfortunate event takes you to this place?
JULIET
I’m visiting and it’s not unfortunate event
VIOLA
Oh please, you’re in deep trouble, aren’t you?
JULIET
No I’m not, (looking down) Oh yes, I am in a riot!
VIOLA
Hold on a second, let me call my sister, (shouting) VIOLET!

NARATOR
While Juliet was getting ready to climb up the stairs, Romeo was preparing for his first attempt at meeting the girl of his dream. Little did he know, he was about to get lucky
ROMEO
(throwing rocks)
JULIET
Pst! Would you stop that? You’ll wake the whole neighborhood and I’m dead!
ROMEO
Huhh? (still throwing rocks)
JULIET
I said, stop it!
ROMEO
Whoa! What are you doing, climbing up the stairs in a ball gown? You must be out of your mind
JULIET
Use your bloody senses
ROMEO
I don’t know, you are a mad woman?
JULIET
This better be worth it (mumbling to herself)
ROMEO
I have a sense that my assumption is correct
JULIET
I’m not crazy! I’m just waiting for this guy to swept me away from the balcony
ROMEO
Just a reminder, this is not Rapunzel.
JULIET
(annoyed) Shut it
ROMEO
Wait a minute, I recognize that voice. It’s the voice of my love, Juliet
JULIET
What are you talking about? Yes, of course, I’m Juliet (finally arrived on the balcony)
ROMEO

JULIET
Is that you random stranger?
ROMEO

JULIET
(stunned) Montague? Are you sure about your last name?

I have good news for you, my dear! Paris has agreed to move the wedding earlier! You’ll be married by the end of the week
JULIET
Whoa! You are kidding me, right?
LORD CAPULET
I know deep down inside, you want to do the right thing. So before, you change your mind, your mother and I decide that we’ll abide you from doing that
JULIET
I’m so sorry mother, this is unacceptable. I can’t do this
LORD CAPULET
We have been patient, we have been more that patient with you. But this is..
LADY CAPULET
Nothing is unacceptable. Your behavior right now is unacceptable. You will get married to Paris and as far I’m concerned, this is the end of the conversation
JULIET
That’s not fair! You can’t do this to me! I’m a person, someone who wants to experience love and freedom too! And if I can have that, what life will give to me?
Juliet exits the stage
NARATOR
That night, Juliet cried herself to sleep. No matter how she tried, she couldn’t find an escape. Finally, she came to a conclusion; her love could only be fulfilled with eternity. The morning she woke up, she called Viola and invited her to come over with something in her mind
Juliet and Viola enter the stage
JULIET
I’m just so glad that you can make it
VIOLA
Ah, Juliet, what kind of friends I am, you think?
JULIET
Listen, I really appreciate the help

Are you sure you want to use cyanide for your project? You know it’s highly poisonous
JULIET
Mrs. Schuester said the only way I could get an A is to create something challenging. What screams challenging more than a cyanide?
VIOLA

JULIET
Oh don’t you worry about me. I’ll be fine!
VIOLA
Make sure you take care of yourself. You look flushed
JULIET
I’m just nervous for the wedding, that’s all
Nurse enters the room
NURSE
Juliet, your mother is waiting for you. The tailor has come. He’s doing your wedding gown fitting
VIOLA
I guess I should leave
JULIET
So should I, I don’t want to keep the tailor waiting
Viola and Juliet exit the stage
NARATOR
Meanwhile, on the other side of town, a good looking young man is doing a big shopping, not for him, but for the special girl in his life.
ROMEO
Excuse me, I am looking for a diamond ring
SALES
Tiffany cut? Specific certain of cut?
ROMEO
Can you show me which one is the most special one in the store?
SALES
She must a very special girl huh?
ROMEO
Of course, she’s my salvation, the answer to all my questions about the gentleness of love
SALES
Ah, I see. What about this? This symbolizes the meaning of eternal love
ROMEO
Then what are you waiting for? Pack it up!
NARATOR
Romeo was ecstatic to find out that he had found the perfect ring to propose to the girl of his dream. Little did he know, his fairytale fantasy was about to take an extreme twist.
LADY CAPULET
(scream) Juliet! This better be not one of your vicarious jokes. Your father and I have been waiting for like one hour
JULIET
(speaks to herself) What could live bring me if everyday would be all the same like this? The only salvation from this pain is pretending to be dead and live an immortal life with someone that I dearly love
NURSE
Ms. Juliet, your mother is waiting
JULIET
Tell her I’ll meet her at the boutique. I won’t be long
NURSE
I understand
JULIET
(drinking the potion) I’m so sorry mother. However this is my life and I can’t have your ruining with spending the rest of my life with someone I barely know and most definitely loath
Juliet falls down and unconscious
NARATOR
Romeo was just a simple young man. He wanted live a peaceful life with his beloved ones. Sadly, his life at this point was far from simplicity.
ROMEO
Father! I’ll be visiting a friendhouse
LORD MONTAGUE
What’s going on son? You know my election is tomorrow and I prefer to have my beloved ones in the nearest
LADY MONTAGUE
Your father is absolutely right
ROMEO
I’ll be back in a mere moment. However, don’t wait up
LORD MONTAGUE
Where do you think you are going young man!
NARATOR
Romeo rushed into Juliet’s house. He wasn’t afraid about the guard, the consequences that he had to take if he got busted, all he care at that point was Juliet saying yes to the one million dollar question he was about to ask.
Romeo enters the stage, via window
ROMEO
Juliet? Juliet, are thee here?
ROMEO
(find out unconscious Juliet) Mary, mother of God! Juliet? Wake up, (checking for pulse) This can’t be happening
ROMEO
(check the potion next to Juliet) Arsenic? What are you thinking Juliet?
ROMEO
If I couldn’t have her love, then life would just meaningless (drink the potion)
NARATOR
Fifteen minutes later
JULIET
Am I still alive? Or is it what the pilgrims called out as heaven?
JULIET
(looking next to her) Romeo? Romeo? Don’t play jokes on me
JULIET
Forgive me God, for ending my life and his in this profane way, however love will give me the strength to do this
JULIET
(Juliet takes a knife and stab it in her heart)
NARATOR
There, the story of tragic love life of Juliet and Romeo’s ended. However, the true beginning of the story was the peace made by the family. Both Capulet and Montague pulled out from the election and realized that there were far more important things in life like the warmth and joy of family. Losing their beloved daughter/son was the rock bottom of opening their eyes and understanding that rivalry could only ended up in the worst possible way. Juliet and Romeo didn’t have an immortal life but they changed both of their families’ lifes eternally.
