Ever since me and my girlfriends watched this movie yesterday (me for the 3rd times), we've been going gaga over how lucky Carrie is to have that kind of life. Today, I hit the jackpot, finding these eye-catching stills from fashion website Of course, I'm gonna share it with you guys here, a few of my favorites :)

For those who haven't had their screenings, what are you waiting for? I've watched it for 3 times and yet I still want to watch it again! :)
The second installment of Sex and The City Movie was called “lack of sparkles”, “complete waste of time”, and “a complete failure”. I have to argue on that one. I admit that the movie has its flawed, however for the loyal fans; this is the moment that you’ve been waiting for ever since Carrie bumped into Big on the sidewalk for the very first time.
Here are my takes on (almost) every aspects of the movie:

CARRIE:
Two years entering marital bliss with the more mature and wiser Big, she was in her happily ever after world before a couple in Stanford and Anthony’s wedding questioned their decision on not having children. It left Carrie in doubt whether she and Big would not be in a rut for the rest of their life ahead. On the other hand, Big has turned into a more homey person, opting to watch TV and cuddle or order in take out rather than spend a glitz and glamor in the city. A complete 180 degree from the Big that we used to see.
Carrie, unhappy about that, kept trying to drag her husband to go out with the nagging, whining, and questioning about their capably normal habits. I have to admit it that in this very moment, I questioned Carrie’s way of thinking just like she questioned Big on his obsession to watch TV and cuddle. Completely overwhelmed, Carrie went to her old apartment and decided to stay there for 2 days with work excuse. Seeing how comfortable she was, Big decided to propose an idea of them taking “2 days marriage off” to work on their “issues” (truth is: this is not a major one and can be solved with one sitting, if Carrie wasn’t too shallow). This made Carrie questioned even more on her marriage.
With the rest of the girls, Carrie experienced the exotic and cultural change in Abu Dhabi. There in the middle of a mirage, she ran into former flame, Aidan Shaw. At first, she didn’t start anything until a dreadful review about her book struck her. This sent her into a complete whack. Carrie started to play with fire by asking Aidan to have dinner. It was until in the end of it, out of passion, Aidan leaned in and kissed her. It lasted for a few seconds but enough to freak Carrie out.
Once back from her date, she questioned whether she should call Big and tell him about it. In the end, she went for it and predictably, Big wasn’t really happy about it. It left Carrie wondering, what she was thinking. The truth is she used to want to have this kind of life with Big, busy chasing him around for 10 years. Now that she has it, she went back being a fool and wanted a reverse. Realizing this, Carrie broke down into tears and wondering whether her marriage is doom or not.
CHARLOTTE: Charlotte was exactly a soccer mom. She was overwhelmed with her kids’ fussiness and her paranoia over the hot nanny. She was obsessed over the possibility of “Jude Law case”. This sent her into every kind of obsessive epitome about the reality. She needed the nanny, even so badly, that the nanny was the first thing that always came up to her mind. One of my favorite scene of Charlotte is when she put down the burden and admit to Miranda that being a mother is hard and she needed a break. It was as if the perfect Charlotte were just like us, overwhelmed and stressed out.
MIRANDA: There’s nothing major going on Miranda. She quit her job on the firm because she felt that she wasn’t appreciated. Nothing major was made out of it, on the words, she handled it well. In the movie, Miranda acted more like a rock that every one can lean on. It’s very relieving to see her grown up from the issues she had on previous movie.
SAMANTHA:
Samantha fought the conventional and went with the modern issues of women. She was trying to fight menopause. Swallowing pills, lots of pills to stop this natural aging process. However, her confidence was shaken once her pills were taken away by the Abu Dhabi custom. She felt as if once she aged, her life were over. The thing is Samantha would always be Samantha, the young sprit in the body of a fabulous middle age woman.
On the other hand, Samantha also fought against the conventional believe system in Abu Dhabi where men and women don’t embrace in public. She struggled with it, eventually fed up and went for her usual Samantha.
As usual, Samantha was the firecracker. Her presence made us laugh with her ballsy attitude. The way that Samantha thought women should be is inspiring and made such a logical sense. BRAVA GIRL
MEN:
Once I stepped out from the cinema, I kept telling myself. “You’ll find a guy like Big” He used to be a jerk, a baby who didn’t want to commit. However in this movie, he was the complete opposite. Being a settled married man who completely loves his wife wholeheartedly, wiser person, and definitely not the intimacy phobic Big you know. He was very sweet, charming, and shall I say a major eye candy (damn you Chris Noth!)
One, two, three: SQUEAL!
FASHION: Shall I say more? Patricia Field killed it! It was so fantastic that I choked! I especially love some of the clothing displayed here:
SPARKLES: Two things that I love the most about this movie’s sparkles: Carrie’s new modest but completely mesmerizing apartment and the hotel in Abu Dhabi. Both of them showed how much luxury can be achieved in both ways
I can't help but to stare at these beautiful summer styled dresses worn by the fabulous four (the definition of fabulous four has shifted from the beatles into uber modern women) These four ever stylish ladies hit the premiere of their critically debated movie, sex and the city 2 in Japan. As usual, SJP struck the audiences in awe with her utterly sweet Vivienne Westwood floral gown.
The ruffles and the floral pattern is a magnificent combination that startle hundred of eyes, including my very own.
On the other news, I will have my Sex and The City 2 screening today! Awww, I'm so excited! I've been tweeting, talking, thinking, you name it, I do it, about this movie! PS. I don't give a damn what the critics said, the movie will rock! :)
take a few seconds to really get a closer look on this look.. i couldn't help but wanting to poke on that head accessory in SJP's head. call me superficial but this look is definitely an original and make me wanna go to forever 21 to grab one of them. attention grabbing? uh yes, edgy? undeniably correct. it's definitely carrie/sjp's quirky pesona that sends this piece of fashion stuff to work.
another point here, the alexander mcqueen dress is a picture perfect of a british fashionista. i think this look is much better than the one in new york, don't you think? i agree to the saying that sjp always figures out a way to stand out among the other ladies. :)
anyway, the others didn't look too shabby either. i'm loving kristin davis' look (she has been constantly looking feminine chic) and chris north looked dapper too, very wallstreet financier vibe. good news aside, i'm still mortified with the fact that sex and the city 2 will open in indonesia in june 2! what..that's just so unfair! i've been waiting for like a year for this movie and i got later opening date? =_= point is please dear 21, stop being so shallow by opposing women realism movie and siding with the boys as heroine stuff. that's so last century

Before I start, let me get this straight, I'm a total goner for Sex and The City. Hell-o, it's not only about the envy-worthy clothing, it's the girl empowerment plot that sets the trend! Out of all the equally (well, not so much) girls, I'd take Carrie Bradshaw, anytime, anywhere, anyplace. Once again, let me validate a few things. First, yes, she has hundreds collections of Blahniks but you know what, she has the 'it' factor to flaunt it! Second, her character is quirky, bubbly, uniquely chic, and extremely adorable. Nobody hates Carrie Bradshaw! Third, her on-off story (which ends in hopefully a happy ending) with "Mr.Big" sold me to the ground! I'm just crazy about their sizzling chemistry, 911, fire burning for sure. So, today, I'll present to you few (that's without a, you can't get enough of it) Carrie's best looks! ENJOY!
#1 Tutu Ballerina
It's the iconic tutu that's credited every SATC credit! Believe it or not, it's worth $5 at first! Oh wow! The genius Patricia Field chose this tutu dress because it reflects on Carrie's personality, quirky with sweetness inserted! Awww :) Remember on the movie, this is A MUST KEEP!
#2 Paris When It Sizzles
One remark: HUGE! The Versace dress is clearly a perfect ending to the series! “The dress is every woman’s daydream gown, just acres and acres of tulle and chiffon. You’d expect a dress like this to be pink, but it’s this darkly romantic color—the perfect dress to be dumped in,” said Rubenstein. “There’s nothing more woeful than seeing a beautiful woman all dressed up with nowhere to go.” What can I say? The dress took my breath away
#3 Pastel in Display Remember this dress when Carrie fell into the lake with Big? Yea, that's the dress (Richard Tyler) that I want to wear when I'm half-drowning with equally stunning looking man! It's a perfect pastel match with killer handbag too! (PS. It's Louis Vuitton) Another way to describe the dress? classic vintage, classic Carrie!
#4 Carrie-d Away by The Necklace
Okay, the necklace is legendary! Think about it, I want one with my name inscribed on it! It's unique, no one will have one like yours! Adding the fact that it can be matched with everything in your closet (even Chicken Suit) adds another point too!
#5 Ms Walking Newspaper Hands down! Before Gaga even knew about this style, Carrie Bradshaw had went with it! It's a definite crowd stopper and you know what, turns out it has meaning behind it. It's about season 3 with all the talking! What can I say? WOW
#6 Casually Chic When you're not in the mood being quirky, you can always try for this look! It's very laid back yet chic, very stylish yet simple, with strappy sandals. We beg to differ Carrie!
#7 Stripey Stylish I don't know whether it's the flower or the fact that the whole pattern just match because this look is definitely working! At her arrival in Paris, Carrie already dressed to impress and she got some big flower to show! It's definitely ' An American Girl in Paris'
#8 It's a Pink World Wow Carrie! This is the most stunning gown, I've ever seen! Tres Chic! Plus, the crazy hair do is a mood booster too! How can you not love this woman? She's stunningly amazing. Course, that detail on her dress is right now driving me crazy!
#9 Green Fever You can't say no this beautiful body con dress with floral details! It's the first dress that I've seen Carrie in from the movie that just grabs my heart! It's the first classical moment where my heart just goes to the movie! :) Awww
#10 Floral Pattern A complete sucker for this one, you know how much I love floral right? SO, go ahead and try, but I'll stand by what I said :)

so, here's a brief information about her, willows is currently the supervisor of CSI las vegas. she replaced the position of gil grissom. three things that i absolutely love her about her: her fighting spirit ( dia ga pernah gampang nyerah gitu aja dalam hadepin kasus), her motherly side ( she's a single mother with a young teen girl), and commitment dia terhadap sesuatu. plus dia juga nunjukin kalo women also can lead! ^0^

first impression, "siapa sih? mukanya koq ga banget?" well, that's bailey, one of the doctors from grey's anatomy. remember, don't judge a book by its cover. that goes with bailey, bailey is indeed one of the most brilliant doctors in grey's anatomy. not because of her intelligence or her high degree, bailey is good at crisis, dia juga terkenal tegas, wise, but punya prinsip. dia juga ga takut nunjukin her disagreement dan very protective terhadap anak didiknya. i'll just say, bravo bailey!

sawyer, where did you get all the idea for the nicknames?
sawyer is an ass? correct! but, the reason that i love him is his wicked sense of humor. sawyer tends to mock people all the time, creating weird nicknames for them, calling them like he doesn't care but actually he's a gr8 guy!( example he helped other survivors during crisis -> saving walt) besides, hearing those nicknames tickles my stomach (bwahaha!)
#16 stella bonasera (csi:ny)

one thing about stella yang ga bisa dikalahin karakter apapun is passion. stella dalam investigate every case always tries her best to finish it until to the bottom of the problems. selain itu, dia juga care about the victim dan memang bener-bener mau fight for the justice. hwvr, kebiasaan stella ini kadang-kadang malah datengin masalah buat dia since she often crosses the line and got into serious trouble
ok i made these two in pairs, karena memang keduanya sulit banget dipisahin. they're like the dynamic duo! hihi. brennan and booth usually works together in a team, solving crimes. but it's not that part yang kita interested tapi gemana mereka saling ngelengkapin each other, bones in logic side, booth in psychological side. and believe me, they function like the most reproductive machine :)

kate yang punya really really dark past is loveable, why? because di balik catatan kriminalnya, kate is actually doing all of those stuffs for the people that she loves. kate juga care banget with other fellow survivors, mostly jack and sawyer. besides, she's a tough girl and i love tough-fie :)

scully is the scientific "believer"
i like her because..well, ok let's start from the fact that she has a medical license but insist on not being an MD. dia malah milih menjadi FBI and bekrja bareng "spooky" mulder. i must say, wow, siapa sih yang mau jadi dokter apalagi kalo udah punya Medical License? and of course, courage dari scully is two thumbs up! dia ga pernah takut dalam ngehadepin apapun. dia juga tetep insist on her belief, in her scientific point of view, walaupun dia juga bisa nerima that extraterrestrial life does exist! 0_0
#12 juliet burke (lost)
juliet is an optimist :)
juliet first appeared as an antagonist yang joined the others, tapii sebenarnya this doctor is on the right side. she joined jack and other survivors and fought against ben. but what i love the most about her is that she keeps believing that one day she'll get off the island. when the others had lost hopes, dia tetep percaya dan terus berusaha to leave the island so she can reunite with her sister, rachel
#11 remy "thirteen" hadley
thirteen is hella gorgeous!
thirteen is a doctor from house's medical team. thirteen yang punya specialty in internist, is known with popping ideas yang kadang bisa jadi lead buat diagnosis. tapii hal yang paling aku suka dari thirteen is dia eventually ga nyerah pas tahu dia sakit huntington (thanks to foreman!) dan dia ga overly attached with patients tapi juga tetep care. and yeah, notice her face? she's so PRETTY :)
#10 meredith grey (grey's anatomy)
dark and twisted? no more!
meredith was known for her dark and twisty, but now since she has a happy life with derek, it seems mer is more light and shinny (wth?) mer is my fave because dia selalu say something that is just inspiring. besides, she's half of mer-der, how can i not love her?
#9 izzie stevens (grey's anatomy)
she bakes, cleans, decorates, who doesn't love her?
another grey's! yay! this time it's isobel stevens, known as "izzie". izzie is soo loveable because of her "spirited" personality. selain itu, she's the one that cares about others and she's damn funny. so hell yea! it's good to have her back on season 6. oh yeah, she uses word "seriously" like no others do!
#8 jack shephard (lost)
jack is a perfect leader :)
try imagining what would it be kalo ga ada jack? well, i believe that the fellow survivors are probably death by now! jack yang udah identik sebagai the leader of the survivors punya ciri khas keras kepala tapi selalu mentingin yang lain. he always takes decision for the others and try to fix everything. sometimes, he can be too hard on himself and ended up with self-destructive behavior. but, who doesn't wanna be saved by this hot doctor?
#7 blair waldorf (gossip girl)
oh effing stylish blair
yes, she's mean, but who cares? blair is the best bitch that tv history ever had! blair yang always talk in her own way, dresses in her own way menjadi perfect figure of how a girl should be (except for the manipulative side, hey, she's a human!) selain itu, blair juga is such a good friend loh, when serena is in crisis, dia selalu siap membantu :)
#6 lisa cuddy
okay dealing with house is worse than dealing with a monkey lols :)
cuddy's my favorite female character, why? 1st cuddy's reaction to house always seems to be so oh-brilliant, second cuddy is one of the smartest doctor, graduating second after house. but the best part is cuddy can actually stand house. i mean that's gotta be something right? considering who house is. oh yeah, my equation: house+cuddy= hot chemistry (Lols)
#5 rachel green (friends)
jennifer aniston is a household name thanks to rachel :)
rachel was spoiled rich daddy little girl, yea, that was a past, but look at her now, how much she has changed, she is a mother, has a steady career in fashion, and love interest at heart :) easy to say, she's my favorite friends!
from all the grey's anatomy character, addison is one of the best! addison is what doctor should be, not overly attached with patient but still cares about them. besides, addison, we can really relate ourselves with her, her frustration, happiness, and misery finding that she's 40 and actually her life is that empty. and of course, addison is one of the brightest, well mannered, with one of the smoothest reputation ob-gyn. one thing i always love about her, her rambling when she got nervous, pissed, or might actually be ecstatic :)
#3 gregory house (house)
house? self centered, egoistical, sarcastic pain in the ass
house is the biggest jerk in tv! haha :) well but love him or hate him, he's still a genius! and of course, sarcasm is the best! seriously! arghhh how can he be that cool and smart at the same time?! and yea, he thinks one step ahead from all of us. ok, i'm not starting, house is 'indescribable'

carrie is probably the most stylish tv character ever!
carrie bradshaw, the name is so popular that most of people know it and yes, she's actually my favorite female tv character. carrie is that likeable to me not only because of her insanely stylish collection of clothes which mr. big built a wardrobe for (a huge huge white one with such a flawless design) but also her personality and her quotes. my favorite quotes of her is "i like to see my money hanging in my closet" (that means in a form of designer clothes or manolo blahniks heels) i couldn't agree more, it's the best thing to have the money invested in clothes. okay, besides, carrie who is a writer always uses edgy way of speaking, describing what's happening with her life. one more thing, carrie is very loyal to her friends and always sticks with them no matter happen :)
