what i love this week..

the city gang :)

finally, i got to watch all the city episodes *yayy* took setting in new york city, i couldn't help but to admire this new reality show. it seems so glamorous, so different from the hills. eventhough, whitney's the main character here, i secretly like olivia better than her ( i know, i know, she's the b-tch!) but well, olivia for sure has one hella great sense of style, classy behavior, and act realistically (she's like the real life blair waldorf -> stylishly manipulative).
indeed, i can hardly wait for the 2nd season! ^^

and i also finished la candy in just like less than 2 hours, with approximately 300 pages, this is one of the fastest books i've ever read. reason? it's flow-y, simple, and basic (as in vocab, structure, and everything) the story? not very stand out but pretty good. it's about besties named jane and scarlett discovering new adventure and drama as they moved to la and got signed up for reality show, la candy. verdict? worth a read, but not a die for as it has been buzzed about.

finishing scarpetta! aside from la candy, this week i also finished reading scarpetta. gosh, i love this book! the plot is twisted, complicated, dark, but still very original. it's like CSI meet with the upper class society. telling story about a powerful yet beautiful medical examiner, kay scarpetta, the book explores scarpetta ability to read what the body show and her controversial yet high publicized personal adds twist to the story. verdict? gotta read it! :0

harry potter and the half blood prince, enough said, y'all have watched it right? it's dark, terrorizing, and exhilarating with the icing of romance and humor.

it has been 5 years since bomb last rocked Indonesia! and now, here we go again! this time, it's worse than ever! 2 bombs in row, what a madness! :(

masih aja ga ngerti, kenapa sih bisa yah, ada orang yang bisa ngelakuin gitu, ngebunuh satu orang aja udah horrible banget, ngebunuh begitu banyak, plus injuring the rest of them! koq bisa yah mereka punya hati kaya gitu? tentu aja, ga bisa dijawab karena mereka udah ga punya hati lagi, mereka tuh udah bagaikan robot yang dikontrol sama "tuan"-nya.

intinya, gw merasa pissed banget, upset, and clearly prihatin sama keadaan ini. Indonesia udah kerja keras for almost 5 years untuk recovering from the bomb, kenapa di saat Indonesia mau maju lagi, kita harus kaya gini? this is so unfair! :(

as for the terrorists, has it ever occured to them, for even one second kalau korban itu innocence? mereka ga ngelakuin apa-apa, atas dasar apa mereka ngebunuh orang yang ga salah sama mereka?

sebaliknya, mungkin saat ini mereka lagi pesta ksenengan karena ngelihat penderitaan orang, kesedihan orang! tapi di balik semua itu, they're a pussy! a COWARD! kalau emang mereka believe in the right, kenapa ga face it like a man? malah mereka ngumpet, kabur, lari, ninggalin aja kaya gini! heartless!

intinya, kita ga boleh nangis terus, terus-terusan hidup dalam ketakutan, kita harus bangkit, lawan mereka! don't let them scare us! karena dengan gitu they win! kita kalau bersatu, yakin koq pasti bisa ngatasin mereka semua! may the burn in hell (even hell's not the right place, it's far too good!)

as for the family of the victims, hv to say, i'm so sorry for what happened, but they're HEROES! unlike the terrorist yang cuman bisa lari aja dan bisa-bisanya manggil mereka HERO! fuck u! eat my shit! :(

Mischa Barton is admitted to psychiatric ward

Last night, Mischa Barton was removed from her home to be placed under involuntary psychiatric hold. The reason for the medication is that Mischa suffered from a medical condition, no further more information regarding what kind of medical condition. She has been put in 5150, restricting her from leaving the hospital before 72 hours of her admittance. The same thing happened to Britney, back in 2008.

Mischa is currently in the work of her new CW show, The Beautiful Life. A story about group of models in trouble, sounds familiar to the real life situation here!

Harry Potter and The Half Blood Prince, Darker and More Twisted

From the beginning until the end, harry potter and the half blood prince clearly pictured a gloomy, dark, intense situation in the magic world. Harry Potter clearly has evolved from all bright and shinny to this dark and terrorizing movie as the movie unfolded the darkest, deepest secrets of their own.


The movie started as Harry and the rest of the crew mourned for the death of Sirius Black. But it's just a tip in the iceberg, the real deal was the fact that the Death Eater had added the new member, Draco Malfoy, the son of Lucius Malfoy (a former Death Eater) and the antagonist of Hogwarts students.

Action packaged, fantasy was already offered from the beginning, leaving no time for us to be bored. Clearly, I found myself enjoying the scene where the Death Eater tried to invade London. It was stunningly haunting. The action scenes came with outstanding cinematography effects, making us truly imagine what actually happened


Back to the story, Harry or "The Chosen One" found himself frustrated but still looking out for some entertainment with his buddies, Ron and Hermione. Then, he found this book, The Half Blood Prince book that clearly brought him attention from the new potion teacher, Professor Slughorn. Dumbledore apparently asked Harry to dig up more information from Slughorn regarding his knowledge about Tom Riddle (the adolescence figure of Voldemort).


Speaking of Tom Riddle, it was so captivating to see him because he was so dark, scarily weird, and twisted but still brilliant. I think it's clearly explained about all of his cruel behavior, it's because of his greediness, wanting to have more life, the immortal one.


This film was special from the others because here, we saw the hormonal behavior of these all grown up teenagers. Like Ron dating neurotic Lavender, that acted more like a stalker than his girlfriend. Hermione, heartbroken because of Ron's relationship, realizing she wanted more than being good friends with Ron. Harry, finding crush with Ron's sister, Ginny. It's all about love, love, love :D

I feel that I have to say this as a precautionary that this movie is not suitable for children especially young one, because different from the other film, this one is darker, more twisted, and can be so terrorizing for the audience.

Overall, I value all the works done here and I gotta give it a two thumbs up for having one of the most twisted plot I've ever witnessed :D
