Recently, I just returned from a 5-day-trip to one of my favorite city in the whole world (and soon to be resident spot), Singapore. The city is an epitome of what's a functional place is all about, thoroughly organized transportation, lavish buildings, balance between glamor and education. Yes, I've been to Singapore numerous times and I've considered this place as my second-home, literally. However, with every visit, I always discover something rather fascinating about this city which is considerably smaller from my current hometown, Jakarta.

Here are some spots which have personal meanings to me:

Marina Bay Sands (MBS) super tastic pool, a spot perfectly suitable to kill some time by dillydallying while looking at exquisite view of Singapore. For me, I finished the whole twenty chapters of John Grisham's The Confession :)

Ion Orchard, one stop place to shop. Favorite vendors include Topshop, Zara, Uniqlo, Mitju, and lots more. During my last visit, I ate Marvelous Cream 5-days in a row for a large portion. Yummm :6

Forever New has arrived at SINGAPORE :) It makes being frugal almost a catastrophe.
(Located at Raffles City, City Hall)

Hula&Co, Singaporean local brand with affordable price and finest quality :)
(Located at 313@Somerset or Wisma Atria Basement Floor)

Forever 21 at 313@Somerset, 4 stories to satisfy your shopping craves.

Iluma and its unique architecture. (Located at Bugis)

Green roof building at Nanyang Technological University. SO DAMN COOL!

Lasalle and its artistic sites. Too bad I suck at art, if only..

My everyday view, SMU buildings. How grand! :)

Nerdies for life! Kinokuniya Ngee Ann City, a must visit spot for me.

Marvelous Cream, we're two peas in a pod! :)

my future school ;) (hopefully will be in the next 5 months!) -> fyi, got my first call outs for UEE (Undergraduate Entrance Exam) yesterday! awww!
(National University of Singapore, located at Kent Ridge Road)

School of The Arts Singapore (SOTA)

There you go, my very favorite places in Singapore, how about you? Share your thoughts here! :)

xoxo,
